NEWS ARTICLE REVIEW – APPLICATION OF ISE (industrial and systems engineering)

Details:
•Your report should be typed, single-sided and single-spaced with 1-inch margins.
• Use an appropriate font, size 12 point.
• Limit the report to two pages.
• Choose any article you want, from a newspaper, news site, or magazine. No blog posts.

For the News Article Assignment, your report should include the following sections.

1. Article Summary: This is a short summary of the news article. It should give a summary of the details in the news article and central concepts reported on. What is the problem being addressed? How is the problem being addressed? Who is involved?

2. Reflection: This section should include a brief personal reflection on what you consider interesting, informative, and/or contentious about the subject matter being reported on. Do you agree with what is being reported on? Would you have done anything different and how?

3. Areas of ISE: This should include a description of how the areas of ISE have been applied or could be applied to the situation or problem discussed.

4. Conclusions: This section should clearly synthesize the information presented in the article write-up. This should include the biggest take-aways from the previous three sections.

NOTE:
I want you to pick a topic to write about; however, it has to be related to Industrial & systems engineering. For example, the topic chosen must be used extensively in human factors, supply chain, and manufacturing, for instance. So, as long as you can find the ISE applications in the article then it is good.
Also, it should be a maximum of 2 pages and please add both in-text citations and a reference page at the end.
