For this discussion board assignment, you should start with a brief summary of the module readings. Your summary should be about 100-150 words and the major response should be at least 150 words so in total your discussion post should be at least 250 words. Then, write a response to one the following major post questions.

Did the technological innovations of horticulture and metallurgy generally result in moral advance or moral regress in societies? Be sure to identify the difficulties confronted in making this judgment, and explain your reasons for making it the way you do.
What would be the probable outcome of a war between a typical advanced horticultural society and a typical hunting-gathering society? Why do you think this way? Provide specific descriptions and examples.
What does the term “economic surplus” mean? Why is/was it important to the development of social complexity and social inequality?
