Hey mercy,
This task is a research/essay task exploring the customs and beliefs of a country, in approximately 2000 words you'll be answering the questions below. The course guide is also attached.

Guiding questions:

Part a) What are common Chinese customs, beliefs and values and how these might shape your pedagogical practices?
Part b) What are the similarities and differences with Australia and China in the education sector and what are the potential implications for your own practice?
Part c) Discuss the reasons for wishing to undertake this virtual global mobility opportunity
Part d) Articulate your professional goals for the virtual mobility program, making links to relevant theory and your own teaching philosophy and practice


You will undertake an investigation into the culture of the country in which your virtual mobility is located. You will explore the customs, beliefs and values of your destination country and how these might shape the pedagogical practices characteristic of your destination country, examining the similarities and differences with Australia/China in the education sector and the potential implications for your own practice. In addition, you will outline the reasons for wishing to participate in this virtual mobility program, articulate your professional goals for the virtual mobility project, making links to relevant theory and your own teaching philosophy and practice.
